With the new A5 CoinPower generation, the technology company from Germany provides a product with a huge potential for future-driven TWS and wearables innovations across all industries. Thanks to improved electrochemistry, more active material in the coin cell leads to even higher energy densities and up to 15% more capacity compared to the previous CoinPower versions of the A-series. This series further features excellent cycle life performance.
Smallest dimensions and outstanding mechanical stability of coin cells make the miniaturization of mobile devices possible. CoinPower technology enables the design of next-generation TWS headsets and provides with its new A5 generation technological features which are suitable in new trendsetting gaming TWS earbuds and furthermore in wearables, e.g. tracking systems in bracelets, watches or jewelry and IoT devices.
According to VARTA, customer project discussions for the cells from the A5 generation are already taking place.
The rechargeable CoinPower cells are directly produced in Germany using 100% renewable energy on highly automized production lines in three different technologies called A-Version, C-Version and F-Version. CoinPower C-Version is based on LCO technology and offers extreme high charging currents that lead to fast charging capability of these cells combined with a high charging cut-off voltage of 4.45 Volt.
