VARTA at COMPUTEX 2023 in Taipei

COMPUTEX is one of the largest computer trade fairs in Asia, where VARTA presents its extensive micro battery portfolio under the motto and with the brand claim of the same name "Empowering Independence". With this, VARTA provides energy solutions for products in the areas of wearables, IoT, smart home & metering, medical as well as for further industrial applications. The portfolio ranges from rechargeable lithium-ion coin cells as well as nickel-metal hydride button cells, silver oxide cells, lithium button cells and cylindrical lithium batteries to gas generating cells as well as VARTA Alkaline INDUSTRIAL PRO batteries.

Particularly noteworthy for the IT application sectors are keyboards and computer mice, for which VARTA offers a so-called hassle-free battery solution for the OEM business with the Alkaline INDUSTRIAL PRO series. VARTA Alkaline INDUSTRIAL PRO has been specially developed for professional B2B use. The battery has a long shelf life, storage stability over many years and low self-discharge. VARTA INDUSTRIAL PRO has a complete range of types and an OEM-friendly product design for simple and flexible use. Different packaging variants ensure easy handling. The micro battery portfolio also includes the patented VARTA CoinPower series, which offers smallest form factors with reliable mechanical design and high energy densities. With the rechargeable lithium-ion cells, VARTA can serve the diverse market requirements of products such as wearables, fitness trackers, smart health applications and mobile applications from the broad field of IoT.

The current A5 generation of the CoinPower series delivers up to 15 percent more capacity compared to previous versions of the A series, which has excellent cycle stability and exceptional reliability. The CoinPower C version is characterized by extremely high fast charging capability as well as a higher discharge voltage. All lithium-ion cells are "made in Germany" and are manufactured with 100% renewable energy on highly automated production lines in Germany.
