With the rechargeable Outdoor Sports Ultralight H30R, VARTA released the ideal companion for evening jogs three years ago: 47 grams light, 91 meters range, 300 lumens and an eye-catching design made the headlamp ideal for city runners who, for example, want to clear their heads a little after work. Now there is an update: In addition to a more modern and neutral design, the headlamp's headband is now also clearly visible in the dark thanks to special logo prints. The headlamp is now available in stores.
From a technical point of view, there is nothing to complain about the Outdoor Sports Ultralight H30R even three years later: The 300 lumens of luminous flux, which illuminate the running path at a distance of almost 100 meters, are still enough to safely show every athlete the way. Features such as the key lock mode to prevent accidental switching on, splash water protection (IPX4), a practical fastening clip or the option to swivel and dim the headlamp and recharge it via a USB micro cable are still integrated. The biggest innovation can be found on the headband of the lamp: Here, there is a change from the eye-catching VARTA beam pattern in various colours to a minimalist anthracite that matches any sports outfit. Matching the lamp head in either white or neon yellow, the VARTA logo is printed in the same colour on the band. In the white version, the VARTA lettering reflects when light falls on it, while the VARTA logo in the neon yellow version has a practical "glow in the dark" effect, giving the wearer additional visibility in the dark.
The Outdoor Sports Ultralight H30R is available now for 29.99 euros (RRP).
