A brilliant idea that is now also making waves outside the Apple cosmos. Cases with corresponding magnetic inserts are also being sold for Android devices in order to utilise the advantages of this patent. The Mag Pro Wireless Power Bank from VARTA offers a capacity of 5,000 mAh and, with its modern design and colour scheme, matches almost any smartphone back or case. In addition to the classic white colour, the Mag Pro Wireless Power Bank 5,000 mAh will also be available in green and orange. The surface made of soft, rubber-like material not only supports the grip of the power bank on the smartphone, but also ensures a pleasant hand feel in everyday use. Thanks to its dimensions of 61 mm in width and 92 mm in height, the Mag Pro Wireless Power Bank is not uncomfortably bulky and fits seamlessly into the ergonomics of the back of the smartphone without protruding. The USB type C connection on the underside of the power bank can be used to charge both the power bank itself and the devices of friends and family members via cable with 12 W if required, and even with 18 or 20 W for the 10,000 mAh power bank via two USB C ports.

The design highlight is an illuminated VARTA logo on the front of the power bank, which otherwise has a minimalist look. The lettering is not only an absolute eye-catcher on the back of any smartphone, but also fulfils an elementary function in everyday use: the current battery status can be read in three colour gradations based on the illumination of the lettering - from dark blue (70-100 %) to light blue and white (0-30 %), users always know how much power is available when they are on the move. The lettering communicates a charging process via a pulsating light signal.
