What to look out for:

Power banks in carry-on baggage

Electronic devices with lithium-ion batteries – such as power banks, smartphones, and laptops must be screened and are therefore only permitted in carry-on baggage.

Tip:
Pack items that need to be screened last so they remain easily accessible – this helps speed up the security check.

Capacity
limits

Power banks with a capacity of up to 100 Wh per unit are permitted.
Watt-hours (Wh) can be calculated from capacity (mAh) and voltage (V):

Power banks rated between 101 Wh and 160 Wh are only permitted under certain conditions and require prior airline approval. Devices exceeding 160 Wh are generally prohibited.

CCC certificate?

For domestic flights within China, only power banks with a valid, clearly visible CCC certificate (China Compulsory Certificate) are permitted on board.

Non-certified power banks may be confiscated during security screening.
