VARTA presents new Easy Blade 36 V variant at Battery Show Europe

With customer and application-specific battery solutions, the technology company from Ellwangen is represented for the first time as an exhibitor at Europe's leading conference and trade fair for future battery solutions in Stuttgart. The new Easy Blade 36 Volt variant is the latest product in VARTA's portfolio and is suitable for driverless transport systems, for example.

Easy Block and Easy Blade from VARTA are the first smart and modular batteries available in 24 V and 48 V as standard. The range is now complemented by the Easy Blade 36 V version, which is already being delivered to customers. The batteries, based on lithium-ion technology, are modular and flexibly expandable and are used in small and medium-sized vehicles as well as driverless transport systems from the logistics, agriculture and robotics sectors.

As an intelligent extension for more transparency and optimisation, the Ellwangen-based technology company has also developed a cloud solution. By means of a user dashboard, all important KPIs of the battery such as state of charge, health or the temperature of the battery management system or the battery cells can be displayed online. Storing this data in the cloud makes it possible to monitor the condition of the installed batteries in the various applications at different locations - conveniently from the workplace.

With CellPac PLUS, VARTA develops high-tech customised battery products and systems. An individually customised lithium-ion battery that acts as a driving force to bring ideas to life and that is used, for example, in medical technology, for robotics applications, for power tools or in telecommunications.

The VARTA stand is located in Hall 6.

The Battery Show Europe will take place from 28th to 30th June in Stuttgart. The forum sees itself as a platform for advanced battery technology in the fields of electric and hybrid vehicles, energy supply and renewable energies, stationary power supply, portable electronics, medical technology, military and telecommunications.
