A little beacon for night owls – VARTA’s Motion Sensor Night Light

Night lights with motion sensors are the ideal solution for moving around safely and staying well oriented at home, even in total darkness. But cumbersome installation and costly purchase price are often obstacles when deciding to buy a night light. With the new Motion Sensor Night Light, VARTA debuts an affordably priced, versatile and reliable light source with a built-in motion sensor. The Motion Sensor Night Light is now available in a single pack for 7.99 euros (RRP) and in a double pack for 12.99 euros (RRP).

Fits where it’s needed

With its compact dimensions, the Motion Sensor Night Light is scarcely larger than a standard light switch. The modern white design of the housing is also convincing on the back, where well-conceived functions make installation optimally convenient and adaptable. Magnets for metallic surfaces and a practical recess to accommodate a wall hook are integrated into the back of the housing. Thanks to its low weight, the Motion Sensor Night Light can also be attached to the desired surface with an adhesive tape, which is included in the scope of delivery. These options make it easy to install VARTA’s new night light in any corner and on any surface. The Motion Sensor Night Light is even more convenient and versatile because three AAA batteries power it: no electrical cords need to be laid or hidden during installation.

The front of the Motion Sensor Night Light houses the light unit and the motion sensor that gives this product its name. A warm white LED is the lighting element: with a moderate brightness of 17 lumens, it serves as a pleasant light source within a radius of slightly less than five meters (4.8 meters) without dazzling night-adapted eyes. The light will be activated if the sensor is recognizing darkness and motion is detected within three meters and an angle of 120 degrees. A slide switch on the bottom controls the light modes. In addition to the options of leaving the light on permanently or switching it off completely, Auto mode activates the Motion Sensor Night Light’s motion control. In Auto mode, the light automatically switches itself off after 30 seconds if it detects no further motion within a three-meter radius. Three AAA batteries power the light for a total of up to 28 hours. For example, the Motion Sensor Night Light lasts up to 365 days if light is turned on for 30 seconds five times per day.

VARTA’s Motion Sensor Night Light is not only impressively versatile, stylish and equipped with practical functions: it also upholds VARTA’s familiar quality promise, comes with a three-year manufacturer's warranty and offers an unbeatable price-performance ratio. All of these features of the Motion Sensor Night Light are decisive sales-promoting advantages at the PoS. The Motion Sensor Night Light is thus totally in harmony with the spirit of our times, when home improvement is experiencing an unprecedented boom. The Motion Sensor Night Light is available for 7.99 euros (RRP) in a single pack (with batteries) and for 12.99 euros (RRP) in a double-pack blister (without batteries).
