World Hearing Day: power one EVOLUTION - The new VARTA hearing aid battery with longer runtime

The demands on hearing aid batteries are increasing as the devices are becoming smaller and more powerful. The power one EVOLUTION with revolutionary manufacturing technology meets these new requirements. Thanks to the foil technology (TFT = Thin Foil Technology), the micro battery has up to 15 percent longer runtime than the standard cell. According to consumer tests, this can correspond to up to 48 hours. Available as a primary or rechargeable micro battery, the technology company is thus the only supplier to set new standards for the world market.

The power one lithium-ion batteries are based on VARTA lithium-ion housing technology. Thanks to the innovation of using a foil, the available inner volume can be exhausted and filled with more active material. This also means longer runtimes for hearing aid users, setting new standards.

Torsten Schmerer, General Manager Healthcare at VARTA: „More and more people have hearing problems. VARTA supplies the heart of the hearing aid and that means longer hearing and thus more quality of life and independence. We offer innovative products to the market that push into new performance spheres. VARTA is in close contact with hearing aid developers and designers and offers them the opportunity to develop new and ever smaller devices with all functions. At VARTA, we are constantly researching in order to develop our products further and to adapt them to the requirements of the ever-changing customer and market conditions.”

VARTA hearing aid power solutions of the power one brand are produced in Germany in a highly automated process and stand for flexibility, safety and sustainability.
